SCX Exin/Technitoys Vintage Series Sigma Test Car Silver

Another mint/unused car from my collection.

These cars are boxed, "new" and unrun. The boxes themselves aren't much and are showing their age.

This one comes in a presentation tin

SCX re-issued these cars in presentation boxes in the early to mid-2000s. This is a 2002 re-issue of a 1973 model.

They feature the venerable Triang train RX motor that powered many of the first Scalextric and SCX/Superslot cars in the later 1950s and early 1950s.

Some bought these cars just so they could get replacement motors for their early Scalextric cars! I did too. But never got round to using all of the them.

It's a lovely series they were raced successfully by CARRACE and other Canberra Clubs and racers for a number of years.

They are now collectibles and even the cars that were easy to find at the time are nearly impossible to get.Prices reflect relative age and rarity.

If you are buying one of these to run, new soft tyres (MJK) and softer braid (NSR) are a must.
