Hi All,
A recent “no words” YouTube clip that got me thinking about Revo and BRM cars generally.
The Revo and BRM cars are amongst my personal favourites. The looks are first class and they invariably capture the feel of the prototyes:
But I also share some of the concerns of fellow racers about the need to spend some hours of tinkering and tuning in converting them from ready to run to ready to race cars.
That is not entirely a bad thing and the time spent is often instructive – and once you’ve worked on one car, you generally have a good idea how to set up the others. And once they’ve been set up to your satisfactiont, they usually stay that way.
YouTube has many videos on how to tune Revo and BRM cars, a number of which emerged soon after release of the Revo Escorts. (The first batch of the Escorts had a gearing /meshingissue but appears to have been addressed by Revo with later issues.)
So, if you are buying a Revo or BRM, bear in mind that there’s still work to be done.
